Improve your mental abilities

posted by admin in Uncategorized

Do you know that most people use only a fraction of their mental abilities? It is absurd how much we have in reserve and don’t use. We are all born with an immense power and almost limitless opportunities. The only thing that is stopping us from achieving excellence and true brilliance is our own inability to want more and achieve more. Only a few are persistent enough to actually unlock their full potential but history remembers them, their names are written in the stars. So what is the difference between them and you, the difference is that they have walked the extra mile, they have managed to unlock their full capabilities. But can anyone do it? Well, here are a couple of different ideas.

Improving self esteem

posted by admin in Uncategorized

There are different aspects that influence and affect the self-esteem of an individual. It could be a distinguishing factor inherited from your parents or grandparents, which dominates your personality. The experience encountered during the childhood affects the personality and thus influences the self-esteem of a person. Like at work my dad was supposed to input data into software which was used for customer data management, as a result everything he did was much like a software program. He would manage things with absolutely no emotions. Consequently, I had difficulty expressing my feelings and as a result of it I was not welcomed in social circles, which started affecting my self esteem.

Property management blues…

posted by admin in Uncategorized

I have a friend who likes to moan. We all have them, but I swear that Derek is worse than most.

Derek…where do I begin. OK, like this: he lives and works in The big Smoke, like me, and he works at a Commercial property management firm. Now, you’d think that a job like that would have to be simple and easy enough, but Derek says – and I suppose he should know, as he has done everything from rent to students to try and get squatters out of mansions – this is the worst of all of them. The reason why is simple: he has to deal with business people, and he says that these are often the most aggressive and difficult. In short, they want everything for nothing and even though they have a fair bit of money, they would rather give their right arm that actually spend a penny of it.

The other day I got so fed up with Derek blabbering on about his work woes that I suggested I come along with him one day at work so that I could see how bad it was for myself. It’d mean getting a day off myself, indeed, but I was willing to give up a day’s holiday just so I could see Derek fall flat on his face.

So we left, and the next meeting was very similar. The third meeting wasn’t too bad, but the woman was pushing for such a cheap deal that it was ridiculous

I arrived at his place at 9am and we went to our first meeting. It was all going fine until the man just stood up midway through what Derek was telling him – and to give him his due he was being very reasonable – and marched off, telling us to get out and that he wasn’t paying that much for the property Derek had found for him. So we left, and the next meeting was very similar. The third meeting wasn’t too bad, but the woman was pushing for such a cheap deal that it was ridiculous. I was eating my words, was what was happening. I was seeing, finally, that I had been wrong all along: Derek really did have a tough job and something very much to moan about…I felt like an idiot for not believing him all this time. OK, so a lot of the time he talks a load of rubbish, but maybe I should have known that this time would be different? Who knows.

The motto of this story? Don’t always distrust your friends. Sometimes, just sometimes, they may just be right…

Fancy Big City? Bored Of It

Why do we need big cities? This question has been troubling me for quite some time and I am beginning to conclude that there is no affect on suffer the same. What do villagers enjoy that city dwellers do not? Well, how about clean air, lots of open space, more fun and joy in life, a simpler and happier lifestyle, lack of complication in life and more job satisfaction when they grow stuff for their own consumption.

5 Mistakes For Want to Be Actors

Here are 5 mistakes most actors make when trying to land a gig.

Mistake 1. Failing to add an image to the back of the CV or print posters.

You can expect your bookings to increase by 50% whenever you add a picture. An agent may spend up to a minute longer reading through your credits and looking at your picture, as opposed to the usual 4-7 short seconds, should you decide to add a small photograph to the More

Train Painter

I’ve always liked graffiti. Not in a huge way. I never got into it, and never even tried it, but I may have been tempted had circumstances allowed. In a way, though, I am glad I didn’t, because the other day I bumped into someone who had got into it in a big way, and the effect on him and his life was anything but admirable.

Jamie had fallen in with a group who were painting trains once or twice More

How Facebook Benefits Your Business

I was researching botox uk for a friend when he asked me whether I think that a business should have a Facebook page and use it to market the business. Since I know a little about these things I told him that any business that does not have one is certainly missing out on a great opportunity to reach a wide market.

It is the dream of anyone who starts a new business to get a pool of customers who More

Surviving in the East end of London without losing your mind is a tricky balancing act that takes a skilful mix of perseverance, determination and outright guts. So when you leave the house, always be sure to take the following things with you:
1) Magazines for your train rides: it doesn’t matter what magazines. You might have a magazine about Antivirus software knocking about, or maybe one on motorbikes. You don’t even need to own a motorbike, and the magazine More

Help Out: Volunteer

Sadly, over the years, volunteering has picked up somewhat of a stigma, and now it’s hard to find someone who isn’t aware of that fact. It’s all about money, of course. Nobody wants to work for nothing, yet working for nothing is the only way to keep many charities alive and prospering doing their fantastic work.

So, after a visit to a local Oxfam, here are a number of ways that volunteering can be good and useful to you:

Umbrella Code

When you think about it, the World is a very scary and dangerous place to live, but not how you might first think. I’m not talking about the fact that the roads are full of cars going fast enough to kill you, or that we all regularly step into metal death cannisters that rocket through the air carrying loads of people, or the fact that in certain parts of the World, crocodiles creep around at night devouring villagers and that’s More
